The Rough Road of Honest Discovery

Waking Times

Anyone who thinks waking up is simply a spontaneous event or some kind of cake walk hasn’t woken up yet. It takes a lot to arrive at the door of discovery as well as courage to open the door. In fact, all of the doors, as life is a series of decisions on where to travel and what to do when faced with the myriad of options presented before us.
Ask anyone who’s in any sort of awakened state and despite their present calm brought on by strong conviction for truth, I dare say they’ve been through the mill in their life to get to where they are today.
It may seem like peaches and cream to an outsider looking in at some of the more ethereal spiritual conclusions many arrive at in the course their travels through life, but I guarantee you there was a lot of suffering, confusion, physical, spiritual and/or mental abuse and times of darkness and despair along the way. It’s part of the process. You don’t just walk out of the matrix when you’ve been programmed and enslaved to it your whole life, nor quickly shed your old warped belief systems like overalls as you step into some kind of sanitized room filled with baby lambs and laughing children.
There’s a price to pay. It’s all part of the process. And so very well worth it, and more.

Honest Evaluation

It’s not easy either to be fully honest about ourselves, what we have been during our lives, participated in, those we have hurt along the way, the amount of selfishness we’ve displayed. We think we hid it from others since we were in denial about it or thought we were clever in how we think we got away with it.
Not so, and it eventually comes back to bite us at the least as weighty baggage if we don’t get honest about it. And this is one of the toughest parts about truly waking up. As our true self arises the old false self gets exposed, and it hurts to face it usually. And it’s not a one time thing; it’s a long process of getting honest, allowing ourselves to be exposed, dealing with it, letting it go and then admitting we need healing in deep dark corners of our fabric.
And then asking for, allowing and receiving the healing.
It’s a long road, yet it is all based on one decision. You want the Truth. The rest follows and no matter how challenging, we rise to it and pass through because of that resolution of the heart. The hardest roads are for those who continue to cover up and fight to protect the whole idea of their old self, or even some form of new self. For them, as it has been at times for all of us, it can be like being lost in the woods and after hours of searching without a compass or sense of direction we land up right where we started. Tired, discouraged and disillusioned, blaming circumstances or whatever instead of the fact that we didn’t allow ourselves to listen to our spiritual compass of the heart because we hadn’t been cultivating a life of honest realizations. About ourselves and the world around us.

The Bold and the Brave Are Normal People Who First Face Things – Then Overcome

I don’t know why this hit me today. I think it’s because it’s been happening to me a lot to me for some time and continues to unfold. Areas of my life I thought I’d overcome or in some way transcended are coming back via relationships gone wrong or hangups reappearing in strange ways. Or just plain fears I haven’t wanted to face that still plague me.
I spent much of my life in denial about many things to keep the pain of my past at bay. It doesn’t work that way. I had a rough upbringing in a seriously dysfunctional family. Physically we were upper middle class and seemed to have everything going for us, but spiritually, psychically and emotionally it was a twisted torture chamber of sorts. I think most of my generation went through this kind of spiritual turmoil.

Ask anyone who’s honest and woken up. They were not only beaten up by life but gave quite a few beatings themselves. That’s why they’re so loving. They realize they not only hurt many people in their selfish pursuits, but participated in many many more beatings with their tongues, compliance with gang like social behaviors to be accepted and cool, and worst of all withheld the love they knew they should have shown along this rocky road towards self discovery and release from this parasitic self destructive “world” we’ve been born into.

I think this inner knowledge and resultant guilt and shame is what shuts many people down. It subconsciously makes them think they’re not worthy of love and truth. It’s essentially a very clever mind control program we’ve been coerced to participate in. Much like the soldier who is reduced to a barbaric murderer for whatever “cause” they’ve been told they’re fighting for, it degrades the human psyche and stifles the spirit, trapping beautiful souls in an endless cycle of guilt and self loathing which only results in more forms of violence. The very sad suicide statistics of returning veterans is one obvious outcropping of this.

But I contend the worst form is this ongoing mass co-justification system. Those trapped therein are the walking dead. They knife themselves daily in one form or another in some sort of masochistic ritual of self degradation. This can manifest as a player within the capitalist system of greed, thuggish behavior again justified by social “norms”. It can be any form of self promotion which comes with a cost to others for personal gain, again based on this strange concept of competition. Sports are a good example of how violence, even within systems of rules, is justified and encouraged. And if you can get away with dirty tricks and not get caught that’s also fair game. The whole capitalist system is based on this.

Honesty Can Be Brutal – But Only to the Old Self

I’m not talking about being honest with others here. While important if done in love, it too can be very destructive if it’s just a form of lashing out or self centered release no matter how cleverly couched. This type of behavior happens because we haven’t come to terms with ourselves yet. And that’s the most important part and should be addressed first. It’s not easy, and is a lifelong process.
Coming to terms with these very personal realities hurts. There are dark corners that need the light of truth. It takes time, but it can’t be avoided. It will surface if not addressed, and the best time to do so is when it appears or comes into our conscious awareness.

I’m not talking about futile self centered introspection. These things have a way of bubbling up and they’re not overwhelming if tackled head on. It’s only in recent years that I’ve begun to understand the lifelong effects of my family upbringing. These sublimated issues appeared throughout my life that followed and it got more convoluted as time progressed. It’s not all bad, as much of this suffering is what drives the seeker to keep pursuing the truth, since deep within us we know there is release. Until then, those abusive behaviors plague us and put up a smokescreen trying to keep these unsavory realities suppressed and forgotten. Quite the cycle, but I think we all experience this one way or another.

I Feared A Fear and It Came Upon Me

One of the most powerful attractors is fear. When we have a fear of something it can literally bring on what we are fearing. There’s an old sci-fi movie well worth watching called  Forbidden Planet that powerfully illustrates this amongst other dynamics. Another is The Martian Chronicles that illustrates how our minds conjure and manifest our reality, a phenomenon long understood by mystics and sages and now even confirmed by modern mainstream science.

This is why we need to identify and face our fears. There are all kinds of fears, from fear of failure to fear of lacking, fear of losing things, fear for the safety and well being of our children and grandchildren, fear of death, on down to singular phobias such as fear of heights. These are powerful drivers and affect our motivations, actions and perceptions. Fear of being discovered for who we truly are is one of the most powerful. What grips our psyche is often a sense of guilt or shame for something we feel is wrong about us that we don’t want discovered.
That’s why denial is so rampant amongst humanity. Instead of being encouraged to simply be who we truly are, we’re told to conform and pretend to be something we are not, with usually unattainable ideals and self images that set us up for certain failure. It’s a vicious cycle once again and a loop that needs to be broken no matter what it takes. It’s a long road overall but one we’re all traveling together.

Shame is one of the most crushing human emotions. It hurts so much we have to bury it under many layers of self deceit just to keep functioning in society. We’ve all suffered from it and will no doubt keep encountering it, as no one is any type of pillar of perfection. But that’s where the pursuit of truth is the best antidote, as we can deal with these things as they come up and not let them fester like an infected splinter in the mind. This wonderful empowering reality gives us the courage to take these on more and more spontaneously and is so liberating. That’s where a good sense of humor comes in and not taking ourselves so damn seriously. We’re all a mess but when love dominates then our shared weaknesses are actually what bind up together as our communication grows more honest and loving and openly caring while we continue to approach and draw near to the light of truth.

Let It Go

Realizing we were born into an abusive system designed to keep us down and disabled is a wonderful discovery. Until we realize our originally pristine hearts and spirits were deliberately coerced to become willing accomplices in this violence upon ourselves and others, the guilt and fear of being “found out” will plague us. The easiest tack for your ship to take is straight into the truth with the realization we ultimately have nothing to defend, that that’s the false self and a bad movie that needs to be chopped up and hit the editing room floor.

However, we carry this psychic baggage to varying degrees and we need to be aware of it, and address any spiritual hangovers that still plague us. Honesty comes first, and exposure to ourselves and perhaps those near to us. And then the healing can begin. It may require some assistance from a spiritual healer or counselor, it really depends. Over the past few years I’ve had a very profound experience with Edna of Earth-Heal and her assisted treatments that synchronistically began at the same time I got back in touch with my estranged older brother and sister. Since this time of reconnection we’ve been sharing childhood memories and how our lives were affected by those traumatic influences, which the treatments addressed without even knowing about them. Quite remarkable.

I’m not saying everyone should do this sort of treatment. You’ll know when it comes to your attention what’s best for you. Universe is very cool in that way. I know meditation and other sincere spiritual practices as well as entheogens such as ayahuasca are wonderful at bringing truths to light and then taking one past the unsavory realities into the marvelous realm of the loving eternal now, knowledge of which is the ultimate empowerment. This, or similar experiences however they transpire, deliver the individual from attachment to all that baggage as we become the observer and release attached identity with this egoic self reinforced by a lifetime of less than conscious actions and reactions. This is why Christianity appeals to so many as the initiation is based on unconditional forgiveness. But this is available to anyone, anytime and anywhere and not hinged on any type of entity. There was no original sin and you don’t need anyone’s forgiveness but your own. The rest will follow as we open our lives like flowers and honest and loving communication evolves naturally. Reconciliation with others then follows. But we must forgive and release ourselves first.
It can be an extremely emotional event releasing these pent up attributes but it’s so worth it. It doesn’t necessarily mean spilling our guts out but that too can help if done with the right people and in the right setting. Again, deep spiritual practices as well as natural psychic healing medicines such as ayahuasca or other medicinal plants have a beautiful way of addressing these deeper issues and then letting us release them as we step into the divine and experience the unconditional love that awaits anyone’s discovery
.
There will still be conflicts and issues. We all have to deal with our own infirmities. But the knowledge of the true reality of conscious awareness being our essential nature and releasing our attachment to this false identity we’ve been engrained with our entire lives is paramount to overcoming.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on this as it’s been surfacing in my own life. Deep seated fears are the toughest to let go of, but let go we must. Some we’ve entertained for so long we almost count them our friends or necessary companions, like the proverbial elephant in the room.  One important aspect to realize is that this goes along with the concept of embracing the dark that’s been discussed a lot lately. If we see it as a good vs bad paradigm we’re really missing the point.
It’s about truth and love versus fear. And some fears are not that easy to identify, nor release. But as we continue on this marvelous yet often rough road of discovery all things will come to light, but in a very loving and synchronistic way if we just keep on keeping on in all loving sincerity.
Unconditional love is awash in our marvelous universe. Why shouldn’t we dive in and revel in it? It’s not a matter of deserving it, it’s a matter of accepting it and in so doing bring more light and loving truth to our darkened world.
Much love, Zen

Cannabis Oil Unveiled

Cannabis Oil

Raluca Schachter, Guest
Waking Times

Although I’ve been aware of the recent positive feedback of cannabis oil to various serious diseases, I was still skeptical to consider this as a viable solution for certain health disorders. After all, so many people these days are looking for the perfect miracle pill to solve their health issues!

Was this another panacea? Was this another way of buying into the one size fits all treatments that come into the bottle, without being necessary to make any dietary and life style changes? Well, in the end, it all depends on how we really make use of these extracts that Nature provided us and how clearly we see the “big picture” of true healing. So it was time to find out more! I interviewed one of my colleagues with extensive knowledge on the matter – Steven Sinay, a fellow Metabolic Typing® practitioner, as well as VP of Nutritional Science for Empower Genetics, and below is what he kindly shared with me regarding this interesting topic:
Raluca Schachter: What is cannabis oil more specifically and how does it work?
Steven Sinay: Cannabis Oil is a thick, sticky, resinous substance that is extracted from the cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa or Cannabis indica). Cannabis oil is a base product that is prepared by separating the resins from the cannabis flowers (buds) using a solvent extraction process. Cannabis oil contains several Cannabinoids including Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive component, and Cannabidiol (CBD), the medicinal component of cannabis.
For legal purposes becoming more commonly used over Cannabis oil, is Hemp oil which is being grown in Europe to have higher levels of CBD and with no THC. In 2001, the DEA issued a rule banning all import and cultivation of industrial grade hemp. In 2003, the Hemp Industries Association filed an Urgent Motion for Stay in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2004, the Ninth Circuit Court sided with the Hemp Industries Association.
In the decision, Judge Betty Fletcher wrote, “[T]hey (DEA) cannot regulate naturally occurring THC not contained within or derived from marijuana-i.e., non-psychoactive hemp is not included in Schedule I. The DEA has no authority to regulate drugs that are not scheduled, and it has not followed procedures required to schedule a substance. The DEA’s definition of “THC” contravenes the unambiguously expressed intent of Congress in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and cannot be upheld.”
Judge Fletcher is essentially saying that the DEA cannot regulate hemp or the chemicals within it because hemp contains no THC, is not marijuana, and is therefore not covered under the controlled substances act; and the DEA cannot regulate substances that have not been scheduled. This is why you can purchase and sell CBD hemp oil.

Over the last 20 years Cannabis has been at the center of one of the most exciting and underreported developments in recent modern science. Research on marijuana’s effects led directly to the discovery of an unknown biochemical communication system in the human body, the Endocannabinoid System, which plays a crucial role in regulating our physiology, mood, and everyday experience.

The discovery of receptors in the brain that respond pharmacologically to Cannabis and the subsequent identification of endogenous cannabinoid compounds in our own bodies that bind to these receptors has significantly advanced our understanding of human biology, health, and disease.
It is an established scientific fact that cannabinoids and other components of cannabis can modulate many physiological systems in the human brain and body. Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that trigger cannabinoid and other receptors. More than 100 cannabinoids have been identified in the marijuana plant. Of these, THC and CBD have been studied most extensively. In addition to cannabinoids produced by the plant, there are endogenous cannabinoids (anandamide and 2AG) that occur naturally in the body, as well as synthetic cannabinoids created by pharmaceutical researchers.

Cannabinoids promote homeostasis at every level of biological life, from the sub-cellular, to the organism, and perhaps to the community and beyond. Here’s one example: autophagy, a process in which a cell sequesters part of its contents to be self-digested and recycled, is mediated by the cannabinoid system. While this process keeps normal cells alive, allowing them to maintain a balance between the synthesis, degradation, and subsequent recycling of cellular products, it has a deadly effect on malignant tumor cells, causing them to consume themselves in a programmed cellular suicide. The death of cancer cells, of course, promotes homeostasis and survival at the level of the entire organism.

Scientists associated with the International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS) have elucidated a number of molecular pathways whereby CBD exerts a therapeutic impact. A preclinical study by Dr. Sean McAllister and his colleagues at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco reports on how CBD kills breast cancer by down regulating a gene called ID-1, which is implicated in several types of aggressive cancer. Silencing the ID-1 gene is thus is an excellent strategy for a cancer treatment.

Extensive preclinical research much of it sponsored by the U.S. Government (see U.S. Patent below) indicates that CBD has potent anti-tumoral, antioxidant, anti-spasmodic, anti-psychotic, anti-convulsive, and neuroprotective properties. CBD directly activates serotonin receptors, causing an anti-depressant effect, as well.
The United States Government holds U.S. Patent 6,630,507 (filed 1999) on Cannabinoids stating in their patent: “Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention.”
Raluca Schachter: With what conditions has cannabis oil proved to be most successful?
Steven Sinay: According to many CBD Researchers the following are a list of conditions that the use of CBD has been shown to improve: Acne, ADD/ADHD, Addiction, AIDS, ALS, Alzheimer’s Disease, Anorexia, Antibiotic Resistance, Anxiety, Atherosclerosis, Arthritis, Asthma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Cancer, Colitis/Crohn’s, Depression, Diabetes, Endocrine Disorders, Epilepsy/Seizure, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Heart Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Inflammatory Disorders, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Kidney Disease, Liver Disease, Metabolic Syndrome, Migraines, Mood Disorders, Motion Sickness, Multiple Sclerosis, Nausea, Neurodegeneration, Neuropathic Pain, Obesity, OCD, Osteoporosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Prion/Mad Cow Disease, PTSD, Rheumatism, Schizophrenia, Sickle Cell Anemia, Skin Conditions, Sleep Disorders, Spinal Cord Injury, and Stress Stroke/TBI.
cannabinoid-education
Raluca Schachter: What should we look for in terms of quality when we choose cannabis oil?
Steven Sinay: Since cannabis oil products have only been in the market place for a short period of time, it is important to source these products just as you would your produce, meat, fish, etc. As far as I can tell there are not a lot of regulatory organizations monitoring the quality and purity of these sources. Be sure to look for a product that has gone through some sort of third party lab testing that detect contaminants like pesticides, fungicides, mycotoxins, microbes, etc. Equally as important consumers need to be aware of the concentration of their medicinal cannabis.  It is fundamental in allowing the consumer to choose the correct medicine for their symptoms, as well as determining the proper dose. It’s good practice to find a manufacturer that is not afraid to allow access to each Certificate of Analysis on every batch they produce.
Raluca Schachter: In what countries can cannabis oil be bought, legally speaking?
Steven Sinay: As long as the CBD oil product is purchased from a non THC Hemp oil source it should be legal in all countries. Here in the United States a non THC CBD product is classified as a dietary supplement and is legal in all 50 states.

Raluca Schachter: The nutritional world is quite flooded with hypes these days. But as we know through Metabolic Typing, there is no nutrient, remedy or food that can be beneficial for everybody. Any nutrient has different effects in different metabolisms, biochemically speaking. So there are no one size fits all remedies, really. From your experience, have you had the chance to observe how this remedy had different effects in different metabolisms?
Steven Sinay: As previously mentioned, at the right dosage, CBD has been shown to significantly help with anxiety, pain, neurodegeneration, inflammation, etc. An appropriately high dosage of CBD will give you all the desired effects you need, and there is really no risk of overdose as CBD is harmless even in high concentrations. However, most people will feel little effect if they take too low a dosage, effectively wasting CBD’s powerful beneficial properties.

With the above in mind, the importance of correct CBD dosage becomes obvious. People with different requirements and different metabolisms will need accordingly different CBD dosages to experience CBD’s positive effects, and dosages can vary dramatically because there is no one-size-fits-all “typical CBD dosage.” While there is no such thing as “too much CBD,” you can in fact take too little to feel a difference. Dosage can range anywhere from 2-3 mg, up to 100 mg, 200 mg,  or 500 mg to 1000 mg on the super high end. Remember, you cannot overdose and there are no reported side effects from taking high concentrations of CBD. Most people only need around 2-3 mg per day to start feeling a difference. Yet people with stronger needs may need to start at a lower dose and work their way up until they find the right dose for their body.

Raluca Schachter: What are your thoughts regarding the future of cannabis in the medical field?
Steven Sinay:  This is the $64,000 Dollar Question! With our government holding a patent on several Cannabinoids, it leads one to be a little skeptical. Why? The forces that would keep cannabis illegal are vocal and very well-funded, but they are not impervious to persistent effort. The lynch pin in the War on Drugs has always been cannabis. Without the suppression and interdiction of this popular and widely used substance, there simply would not be enough “illegal drug use” going on to justify the huge amount of money and resources spent on “fighting drugs.” Once again all based on the all mighty dollar!
I feel CBD and other Cannabinoids with the persistence from those who can, and are truly benefiting from its medicinal properties, along with natural healers promoting its use, will find its place in future modern medicine. Time will tell.

Racism vs. Love, Compassion and Knowledge

Racism_in_America

Daniel Dowling, Contributor
Waking Times

In the wake of all the headlines emerging from institutional racism, I’d like to address the topic of racism as one of the many symptoms of ignorance to be balanced by compassion and knowledge, and how hate crime train wrecks are employed to turn all our heads while the real news goes unnoticed.
There are so many heads of the evil hydra that radiate from imbalance, and just as soon as one is decapitated through force, 3 more spring forth to command attention to the imbalance within. Racism is one of the most pernicious heads of this beast, but there is no amount of information that can cure it, and no amount of force that can deter it, for it will resurrect in greater strength unless and until it is balanced by love. If we finally address racism because it has reared its ugly head and we want it to go away, then we live externally, and the imbalance remains, albeit in quietus after the riots have quelled. The fuel of this mythical monster from which problematic heads, like racism, stem is fear, and fear is contrived and suspended by ignorance, and with all of the information that we have, to say nothing of the conscience embedded within us all, ignorance is a choice.

Self love is the key, because potent self love dissolves false bonds of separation that distract us from reality, and that reality is compassion. Look within and discover the beauty etched in our hearts, and with an earnest heart to give and share that beauty, self love will be transmuted into compassion, and that is the stuff that a free and loving world is made of. Until we can learn to love ourselves, really and truly love ourselves, the hydra will always have a stream of unconscious energy to vivify and animate the false head of racism that we have come to loathe and fear.
Until we learn to engage our intellects, we won’t know what love actually is, and so we will always find ourselves scratching at the surface of possibility in futility. We were equipped to sift fact from fiction so that we could live in the beauty that we create, but when society has been commandeered by ignorance and fear, the ability to discern loses its potency for discernment is a strength, and like any other it will atrophy when not exercised.

Tigers have explosive leaping abilities, gorillas have the strength of ten men, hummingbirds can flap their wings one hundred times per second, and we have intellect. If the hummingbird chose not to fly or forgot it could, it could not perform this tremendous feat, nor could the tiger leap 12 feet high, nor could the gorilla bench press a Hummer. When we forget our power to discern, we distance ourselves from what really makes us as beautiful and special as all the other creatures in nature. None of those creatures would forget their nature, unless held in captivity by humans, because nothing would or could tell them that they weren’t part of nature.

We have been deceived, and we have been conditioned to look to the most prolific sources of deception for truth- This is why every proposed solution for our society begets more problems, and this is why most of us feel so frustrated and impotent. Every time we look to the media for answers, we look outside of ourselves for the truth that has always been there.

“The (person) who reads nothing at all is better educated than the one who reads nothing but newspapers.” – Thomas Jefferson

“And I am sure that I never read any memorable news in a newspaper. If we read of one man robbed, or murdered, or killed by accident, or one house burned, or one vessel wrecked, or one steamboat blown up, or one cow run over on the Western Railroad, or one mad dog killed, or one lot of grasshoppers in the winter, – we need never read of another. One is enough. If you are acquainted with the principle, what do you care for a myriad instances and applications?”- Henry David Thoreau
Wise men and women do not look to media for answers or solutions, but proud ones with unwavering and chauvinistic faith do. We have all been deceived at one point, and it is no crime, but to perpetuate the deception and to be a willing participant in propagating the anti-fruit that has become the hallmark of “civilized” living is irresponsible and entirely un-conscious; it hurts our hearts, and it disengages us from reality because we are all part of the same thing, and our consciousness extends from the past to the present to the future, and if by our actions we are precluding abundance and life for the future, which is an extension of our consciousness, we are living a lie!

I enjoin you, along with Jefferson and Thoreau, to burn your newspapers and to defenestrate your TVs. The “news” in these media is not really news, in fact, every bit of info within these systems is old and stale and trite and redundant because these same bits have been occurring since the dawn of mankind, in different forms. If news helps you and brings you to potency and compassion, then you will have been the first to accomplish such a feat, and I would love to read your book to aid in my own navigation of reality. If you aren’t channeling the information in your life creatively, then that information will use you because you have allowed it to; information does not sit and rest– it must do something!

The more information you intake, the greater mass and inertia that information has to control unless you know how to channel that energy with love. A pathological and pandemic information crunch has resulted from our inability to discern, and this is seen in the forward head lean that has become characteristic of anyone with a smart phone. this is ruining our alignment and our relationship with ourselves. Fast from technology if you are finding that id doesn’t serve you. Take a break from the stress, breathe, and allow yourself to focus on the things you are grateful for. If you find that you are grateful for all of the information that you ingest because it brings fruit and and grace into your life and the lives of those surrounding you, then you will have mastered discernment. If not, keep breathing!

We were born as creators, and because of this, the universe provides what we focus our attention on to help us create our subjective reality. This power works any way in which it may, and when we have been programmed to live fearfully, that is how we shall see and that is how we will live. The crux of this power to create is that the reality we live in seems so incredibly real, but unless we view life through love and compassion, the stuff the universe is made of, we are suspended in a near-re-eerie-ality that is manifested by our thoughts.

To disjoin ourselves from the illusion that racism roots in, we must exercise our natural ability to discern. Question everything a thousand times and question it again. Once the information one lives by is apprehended through questioning, truth can be determined by contrasting these data to the fruits of one’s existence, If one finds that the information has led to abundance and peace in all facets of life, then the information can be said to be truthful and life is love for that person. If the information that we channel through our intent and action does not create but moreover foments acrid relationships and sickness and poverty and insecurity and fear, then that data cannot be said to be love, but is a lie.

The lies that we buy into continue to build momentum for as long as we suspend them through ignorance, and they will grow and grow and grow in perceived power, and that is to be expected because nothing ever stays the same; change is constant in one direction or another look at our universe, our position within that universe, and every atom within our bodies to verify this fact. When one chooses to create by purifying their perception to accommodate love, that creative energy channeled through compassion will manifest in infinite ways, all loving, and all helpful in building a brighter future. When one ignores creation, our divine energy is channeled through contrivance, and through contrivance we see what appears to be infinite problems crop up, racism and government among them, and they will fester and pester us for much needed attention until we will love to exist through our conscious thoughts.

This transition can occur through our personal enlightenment and desire to give, or it can come about when the pain of the lies no longer justifies the perceived comfort and security the contrived systems proffer. And so the flower of humanity will bloom, one way or another, and there will be pain because that is necessary when we grow away from the egos that we have so falsely deemed intrinsic to our existence, but the duration of the pain and suffering is entirely up to the individual, for as long as we wait to love, which is our essence, the more insistently our true nature calls for us to come home.

What we see as problems are actually brilliant and compassionate ways for us to recognize the imbalances that lead to hate and racism, among other falseness, much in the same way that our bodies tell us we need balance through physical sickness; vomiting, fever, rashes, etc. Problems are the Divine Source’s way of telling us that we were meant for more, and that we are indeed needed in love.

Take comfort in this, and be emboldened in your quest for personal truth. What could be better than to be constantly needed and appreciated? When we understand the language of the Universe through the silence, we realize that our happiness and creativity is not personal, but wanted and needed by every aspect of creation! When you understand the language of the universe, as most creatures do, you realize that you are profoundly important, and that everyone around you is in the same but in different expressions, all in love. When we take time to learn and understand the language of the Universe, the secret to peace that is written in all of our hearts is allowed to be expressed because we have shed the light of consciousness upon it by our own free will. When we understand the language of the Universe, we realize that we no longer recognize the words in newspapers or on TV screens because they hold no meaning.

Will we continue to suppress our inherent truth with blue pills that the sick society has to offer, or will we accept the challenge from our Creator and live freely? It is an individual decision that no government can abstract and put on a ballot. In my own heart I choose to live freely. I pray that you will too!

Daniel’s focus is to help guide other’s subjective lenses to the objective truth of love through beauty, curiosity and compassion. While attending university for anthropology and the social sciences, he realized the only thing that could draw us back from the point of no return as a species is love from within and a return to the grace that is so abundant and evident in nature- necessarily, he dropped out and became a naturalist and writer. The greatest asset in the deprogramming of humanity is the beauty in truth, for beauty inspires and re-wires naturally and in accordance with the laws of love. Love is given freely and never forced, so in one’s attempt to change the world, allow others to live freely and love them for who they are and not for who they pretend to be. We are all pure love in various degrees of amnesia and forgetfulness, so when you can view the people in this world who are stumbling blindly and hurting others as a Alzheimer’s patients, everyone becomes much more lovable and compassion is known.

8 Things To Remember When You Think You’re Not Good Enough

sad-girl
Negative self talk is something that seems to affect all of us at one time or another. I know I can say myself that it has been a problem in my past, and even now still creeps up on me from time to time.
We all have different reasons as to why we might think we are not good enough inside, whether it be because we think we can’t do something, we haven’t achieved enough or that we simply don’t have all the skills to make something happen. We may go through hard times or challenges and make them even harder as we start telling ourselves a series of stories as to how we got in this “mess” to begin with.
“I always have this happen to me.” “I will never be able to achieve what I want.” “It’s too hard for me to change.” “Others have it easier than me and are capable of more.”
The bottom line is, no matter what stories we tell ourselves, we can overcome any challenge we face as we wouldn’t be in it if we couldn’t overcome it. But, like you, I have been through a number of challenges in my life and have learned a lot along the way about overcoming these stories and that’s what I want to share today.

1. Your Mind Will Trick You & Even Scare You

I think back to when CE was first getting started. I was still working a job and I wanted to take things full time and really expand CE to the next level. Many of my friends and family already thought much of what I shared through CE was “weird” simply because it was different and challenged them. Leaving a good job to run a website wasn’t something many thought could work and because of the constant words of discouragement, I believed that at times too.
If what I was doing wasn’t about money how could I ever survive? How would I pay my bills and move forward in life? Something like this could never support me. These were many of the thoughts I not only heard from others but told myself. And until I pushed through them and took action, those stories did cripple me from moving forward. Even when I chose to move forward, thoughts still came in and my mind told me stories that things wouldn’t work, would fall apart and that I should be careful. Yet I’m still here..
Be smart with your choices, feel them out and go with what you feel inside. But don’t let your mind scare you from doing something.

2. People You Compare Yourself To Have Challenges Too

I’ve been through this one quite a few times. The people we often compare ourselves to; “I wish I was able to be as good as that person at something,” often have many challenges that you don’t see. While we think just because they may have or excel at something we think their lives are perfect, there’s a lot more to the story and often times “being” them isn’t going to suddenly make us happy. Not to mention it’s not about chasing things, achievements or happiness, it’s about allowing yourself to be YOU and allowing others to be themselves. We’re not all meant to be the same and each of us come with our own unique journey. Appreciate yours.

3. Your Impact On Others Is Always Powerful, No Matter How Many People You Affect

Sometimes we have cravings to really want to make an impact and we think we are too small or are incapable of helping to inspire others or change the world. Until we remember that no matter how big or small one’s actions are they still can change the world and affect others, we will always be chasing more.
People have shared their love and thanks with me many times about my work and what I’ve done to impact them, yet when I get caught up in thinking about how much MORE I could be doing, I don’t feel peace about what I’m doing now. Sometimes a simple act of being kind to someone can impact another in a way that affects 1000 more. Don’t underestimate and play down your own individual power.

4. You Are Exactly Where You Need To Be

“When I finally get beyond ‘this’ or get good at ‘this’ I will be happy and ready to go!” How many times have we said that about something? Again it can come down to comparing ourselves to others. It’s a cycle we get in where we look at where we are now and simply think it’s not good enough. Trust where you are. It’s perfect for you. It doesn’t mean you don’t take action and simply ‘chill’ where you are. No, instead be at peace inside about where you are, accept it and take steps to continue moving forward but be patient with yourself. You will get to where you need to be. Enjoy the journey of it all, focus less on the result.

5. When You Get To Where You Think You Should Be, You Still Won’t Have Peace Unless..

Peace and happiness is an inside job. It’s partly why I don’t like to use the word “happy” too often. We get caught up in chasing it and we always use external things to feel it. It’s an emotion, not a state of being. It has an opposite and that opposite is sadness. We often set up conditions for our happiness. If I do this, have this or become this I will be happy, if not, I’m sad. Peace or what we could call ‘true happiness’ is something that isn’t about what we do but our state of being. It’s about kicking out all the stories and patterns that keep us out of peace, our natural state.

6. Negative Self Talk Is Not Going To Make Things Better & Can Be Addictive

This is another big one that is very common. Very much related to what’s been mentioned already, getting into negative self talk and doing it consistently doesn’t make anything better and usually only makes things worse. But we get so addicted to it. It becomes like a habit where the first thing out of our mouths when someone asks us something about what we are doing or how we feel is a negative piece about yourself.
Considering there is no purpose to negative self talk other than to maybe you that you about self-love, kick the habit. Start observing how often you do it and then make an effort to stop before you start next time. Soon enough you won’t even have the thoughts coming to your head anymore.

7. You Are Not What You Do

So many times we get caught up in the idea that if we do something, we will suddenly have more value and thus when we don’t do something or don’t achieve something we feel worthless or not good enough. But, we are not what we do. That does not make up who we are and our “achievements” don’t make us any better or worse of a person. Sure, it’s OK to be pleased with yourself if you did something great, but it isn’t about making that part of your identity and then suddenly feeling like you have more value. Likewise when we don’t do or haven’t done something, it does not make us any better or worse. If you’re waiting for that moment of completing something to feel worthy, you might be waiting a lifetime.

8. Take A Moment, Think Of How Awesome You Truly Are

Finally, just take a moment and think about you as a being. No doubt you’ve done some awesome things in this life time, but can you say that to yourself? Instead of defining so much about you as being “bad” or focusing on times you weren’t happy with yourself, ask yourself why you even feel that way about yourself to begin with? Why do you feel that because you aren’t a certain way that you are not worthy or good enough? Challenge yourself to explore and find answers to this, you will learn a lot about yourself. When you understand how your belief systems work, you can also learn how to kick them. Then simply look at yourself from a neutral stand point and see the true brilliance of yourself. You are not the stories your mind makes up about you.

Mind Over Matter: Princeton & Russian Scientist Reveal The Secrets of Human Aura & Intentions

aura

A Russian scientist has been studying the human energy field and is claiming that people can change the world simply by using their own energy. While this idea is not new, not too many have taken the time to scientifically go about proving such ideas -although the field of quantum physics has shed some powerful light on the topic over the years. Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, professor of physics at St. Petersburg State Technical University, states that when we think positive and negative thoughts, each have a different impact on our surrounding environment.

“We are developing the idea that our consciousness is part of the material world and that with our consciousness we can directly influence our world,” said Dr. Konstantin Korotkov.
We cannot see energy very easily with the human eye and thus the world of unseen energy can be difficult for the mind to grasp without scientific measurements to verify what is taking place. Perhaps this is why the study of consciousness affecting our reality has been virtually untouched for so long. To help create a bridge between our physical and unseen world, scientific experiments using a technique called bioelectrophotography are being carried out. In these experiments, an assumption must be made that states the human body and consciousness is constantly emitting energy. Following this assumption, Bioelectrophotography aims to capture these energy fields seen as a light around the body. In the metaphysical world this energy emission is known as a person’s aura, while in the scientific field, it is often refereed to as our energy field.

Princeton Research

Dr. Korotkov is not the only one studying the affects of the human mind, thoughts and energy on our surrounding environment. The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) Laboratory has also been trying to wrap their heads around the subject and have concluded that the mind does in fact have a subtle capacity to influence the output of devices known as Random Event Generators (REGs).

A project that initially started when a student was curious to study the effects of the human mind and intention on the surrounding environment, turned into a rigorous testing lab where Dr. Robert Jahn and his lab assistant spent many hours experimenting to determine whether or not the mind has an affect on our physical world. Jahn and his assistant were able to determine that the human minds interactions with the machines demonstrated a relationship that was not physical in nature. The mind was able to affect and change outcomes of the machine in ways that were beyond explainable. In essence, consciousness was having an affect over the physical world.

To determine the affects of the minds intention on the physical world, they built several machines called  a random number generator. The machine would essentially mimic a coin flip and record the results over time. The machine performed 200 flips per second and produced an average mean of 100 as one would expect. Left unattended, the machine would continue to produce results that suggested a 50/50 chance of producing either heads or tails. The interesting results came when human intention started to interact with the machine. What was once a random 50/50 chance of producing heads or tails began to deviate from expectation as the observer began to intend for the numbers to be higher or lower. While the affects of the mind over the the machines was not large, it was enough that contemporary physics is unable to explain what exactly is happening. Perhaps this is where the quantum world can shed light?

The implications this research could have on humanity is quite fascinating given it could reach into the realms of creating a world of peace, healthy living and joy. If intentions and thoughts can impact something the way it has been demonstrated above, why not explore the boundaries of how far this can go? It is my belief that we create our realities with our thoughts and intentions, I feel science is starting to confirm this and in time we will realize the true power of our minds and intentions.
The video below is a very brief synopsis of the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research laboratory of Princeton University, whose research into mind-matter interaction forms the foundation of Psyleron Technology.
