THE PRACTICE OF FREEDOM

The practice of FREEDOM

Freedom starts from with in.  You are born of a free mind and free body however dependent you appear.  As you become more aware of the outside world your freedom becomes less evident as your Ego becomes more prominent.  Your freedom appears to diminish with every decision you make.  Your idea of freedom become less apparent, almost to a point that most of us do not know what freedom is or who we are.  What is FREEDOM to you?  You must make it your life's practice to get back to the freedom you were born with and ultimately die with.  There is too much living in between to not feel free.  Freedom from Ego, freedom from your own minds idea of who you are, freedom from your thoughts that debilitate the true you, freedom from addictions, wether it be people, work, alcohol, drugs, legal or otherwise.  How do we do that?   Do you want to do become free?  Dependency is a disease.  The more dependent we become on others, on people, on things, on anything, the less free we are free!  True FREEDOM takes practice.  How you practice freedom is what we will address.  This can be done together as a group or an individual practice.  The more dependent on anything we are the more we lose the only thing that is truly important to our happiness, better yet our BLISS!

Are these statements accurate or True?  We become what we do.  We become what we think.  We become something we are not.  We become trapped in an ego run mind.   When ask what do you do?  Ask what do you mean, or say well I like to mountain bike, snow ski, go for walks with my wife... etc.  Who cares what you do.  The question is either to feed the questioner's ego because they want to tell you what they do or they want to appear better than you.  The question is created by the ego to assess your worthiness or asses your income.  The question is designed to form an instant opinion that is not an accurate representation of the the real person to whom the question was ask unless the person is free of ego and has achieved true freedom.  What YOU do has nothing to do with you unless you have lost your identity to your ego.  If your ego is in control it will be very important to state what you do.
